These terms and conditions describe the essential points in the legally binding contract or sale between you as a buyer and us as seller when you place an order via our website and the order has been confirmed by us via e mail to the address supplied by you.
Everyone at Garden Beauty wants you to be delighted with the plants you have purchased from us we would like to think that every customer is a happy one. So if for any reason you are not satisfied with the plants that we deliver please make use of our “no quibble policy”
We do our best to ensure that the quality of all plants despatched and our packaging ensures that they are delivered ready for planting. If you are not satisfied with the plants delivered or they are damaged please contact us immediately and follow the procedure described below.
Please email (firstname.lastname@example.org) a picture of the plants as they were delivered to you with a note about what is wrong with them so that we have a record of defects at the point of delivery.
Please note that the plants delivered may look different from the pictures on our web site because of seasonal factors. For example in Autumn, Winter and early Spring deciduous plants may have few or no leaves and perennial plants may have no or limited growth above the soil. Plants may also have been recently trimmed to promote growth or to fit the packaging.
Once we have been able to assess the nature of the problem with your plants we will contact you to arrange replacement or refund.
We will not accept claims under our no quibble policy more than 7 days after delivery.
We are only able to accept orders for delivery to mainland UK and IOW. We pack and despatch orders Monday to Thursday to ensure a pre weekend delivery of fresh plants.
Prices - quoted and charged are those on display on the website at the time the order is processed. We may change prices on our website at a later date without altering our contract with you.
Promotional codes or discounts – are only accepted if entered at the time of order and may not be claimed after an order has been completed.
Please take great care to ensure that these are accurate as these will be used by us and our carrier to get your order to you in as efficiently as possible. We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by incorrect details.
Please ensure that these and any “not at home” instructions are accurate as responsibility for the order passes to you once it has been delivered by our carrier.
Risk and ownership of the order - passes to you following full payment to us and delivery by our carrier. Please carefully unpack then follow any care instructions to ensure that you get the best from the plants supplied. In the unlikely event that plants are delivered damaged or faulty in some way please use our “no quibble policy” procedure so that we can arrange replacement or refund.
We accept payment from all major credit and debit cards as listed. Full payment will be taken from your card account at the time of order which will be dispatched as soon as possible afterwards.
Due to the living nature of the product we are not able to accept cancellations of the product after it has been dispatched and we do not accept returns unless there is a problem with the plant.
Our website shows all the plants we have ready to sell at the time you are placing your order. In the unlikely event that we find that we are unable to fulfil part of your order we will contact you to cancel that part of your order and arrange a full refund.
We have taken great care to describe each plant and present photographs that illustrate the key features of the plants to help you make the best choice. However the plants delivered may look different because of seasonal factors. For example in Autumn, Winter and early Spring deciduous plants may have few or no leaves and perennial plants may have no or limited growth above the soil. Plants may also have been recently trimmed to promote growth. Each garden will also differ due to climatic, soil and sunlight variations so the plant may differ from the description or photograph in size, shape, colour and flowering time depending on where it is planted in your garden.
VAT is calculated and included in the plant price and separate delivery charge at the time the order is placed.
If we state in our website descriptions that a plant is hardy without needing any special treatments to survive a normal winter provided it is planted and cared for correctly we guarantee these hardy plants for one year from the date of order. This guarantee excludes any annuals or biennials or plants that we advise need winter protection or shelter from frosts or the effects of extreme winter conditions. Lack of watering and lack basic gardening care are also excluded.
To claim a replacement under our guarantee e mail us a picture of the damaged or dead plant with a note about any problems. Once we have assessed your claim we will contact you to arrange a replacement.
