Hebe Silver Queen, syn Hebe x franciscana Variegata is a bushy rounded shrub which is widely grown for both garden and container use. The plant has thick rounded leaves with irregular creamy margins and from July to August a full display of violet purple rounded racemes which are densely packed with flowers are produced and then appear sporadically through the rest of the season.
Hebe Silver Queen has year round interest and versatility summarise this variety. Often used in a small size as a contrast plant in winter displays, though works in a hanging basket, mixed planter or grown on as an evergreen specimen for your garden. An excellent coastal plant, in colder areas may need winter protection.
