Plant Information

Pseudopanax Sabre is an evergreen shrub from New Zealand which forms an architectural shrub with an upright with thick glossy deep green lanceolate leaves and in late summer unusual upright umbels of tiny green flowers are sometimes produced. Best grown in a moist, fertile soil in full sun to dappled shade. Protect from cold winter winds.

Pseudopanax Sabre makes a perfect centre piece to a border or a specimen in a large pot. In cold winters the tips may be damaged by frost but it will regrow in the spring. Can be grown in a pot and overwintered in a cool greenhouse in colder areas, protect from winter winds.
