Plant Information

Hebe Purple Shamrock is a compact variegated Hebe discovered by Doug Thomson in Ireland as a sport on H. Mrs Winder. The narrow lime green leaves are edged yellow and contrast well against the purple stems of young growth, during the Winter and early Spring foliage turns to a stunning deep purple colour. Occasional purple blue flowers produced late into Summer.

Hebe Purple Shamrock is a variety which looks good all year round but really comes into it's own during the Winter months when the evergreen, variegated foliage turns rich purple in colour. Use it in a border or a container on it's own or mixed with other winter plants.Hardy
