Plant Information

Hebe Pink Elephant is a sport of H. Red Edge that was found at Ashwood Nurseries by Mark Walberton. A compact mound forming variety with glaucous rounded leaves with a red edge. In the Winter months the new growth develops buttery yellow irregular margins and the tips and young leaves have a pinkish-red colouration. In Summer white flowers are produced, but the plant is primarily grown for its foliage.

Hebe Pink Elephant is a fantastic variety which really comes into it's own in the colder winter months when the variegation comes to its best. Excellent as a border or rockery plant or as a mass ground cover planting. Hardy.
