Ageratum petiolatum is a rarely seen perennial which has mid green leaves and from May through till Autumn which produces dense clusters of pale blue flowers on upright branching stems.
Ageratum petiolatum is an excellent choice for a sunny border where it puts on a delightful show, remove spent flowers to encourage successive flowers. In Spring cut back hard to keep the plant at a good shape, if it loses shape in the growing season it can be cut back hard to encourage a new flush and will quickly come into flower again.
