Plant Information

Weigela middendorffiana is a wonderful upright deciduous shrub with large bright green leaves 8cm long. From mid Spring to mid Summer bell shaped, pale yellow flowers with an orange throat are carried in clusters at the end of the shoots. It is not often seen as a shrub which is a shame as the flowers are exceptional.

Weigela middendorffiana is an unusual plant with a sweet scent, excellent used in a mixed border or as an individual specimen. Prune after flowering.
