Buddleja globosa- Orange Ball Tree. South American native from the Andes, with glaucous semi-evergreen foliage and fragrant golden orange ball-shaped flowers in Summer. It forms a large shrub with large leathery dark green foliage which are the perfect backdrop for the unusual flowers.

Buddleja globosa will grow in a wide range of situations and soils, attracts butterflies and is always commented on. It's surprising that such a wonderful and easy to grow variety is not seen more widely. AGM.
