Buddleja davidii Sugar Plum is a striking new variety raised by Peter Moore at Longstock Gardens. Produces an attractive arching shrub with silvered foliage and from mid summer through till autumn prolific reddish purple flowers are produces in racemes up to 30cm long.
Buddleja davidii Sugar Plum is an easy to grow plant with little maintenance required - though regular removal of spent flowers will extend the flowering period. Best in full sun in most free draining soils.
