Plant Information

Hebe Dark Star is a selection raised at Lowaters and first sold in 2013. We chose this variety for it's strong upright growth which carries the foliage which remains dark for most of the year and stays dark purple from December right through till June, from mid Summer onwards rich purple flowers are produced in densely packed upright panicles.

Dark Star is an excellent selection as a stand alone specimen in the border or a large container in your garden, Its Winter foliage is stunning and will provide a centrepiece when all else is bare. Can be trimmed lightly in Spring to encourage bushiness.
