Alcea Chater's Double Purple is an attractive perennial which forms tall spikes bearing large brilliant purple double flowers in mid to late Summer above a low mound of foliage. After flowering cut back flower spike to 20cm.

Alcea Chater's Double Purple is an easy to grow variety which is attractive to butterflies and is a perfect English cottage garden variety, but with the benefit of new breeding and disease resistance. Full sun and a free draining soil.
