Plant Information

Hebe brevifolia is a native form from New Zealand. Very different to the species this variety makes a low spreading shrub with leathery deep green glossy leaves 7cm long. From July until the first frosts large numbers of rich reddish-pink flowers are produced in open pointed racemes up to 7cm in length. May need some protection in colder areas.

Hebe brevifolia is a very dramatic variety and the dark leaves are a perfect foil; for the big open spikes of flowers, in the right position huge numbers of flowers are produced, a spectacular sight in a large patio container. May need some protection in colder areas.
