Hebe Boughton Silver is a selection of H. recurva with a more dense habit and intensely silver-blue foliage and narrow leaves. In May and June prolific flowers are borne on slender racemes which are pure white. A very attractive variety which attracts butterflies and bees.
Hebe Boughton Silver is a stunning variety for the front of a border or a patio pot. It is one of the most free flowering varieties and the plant disappears under the pure white flowers while it is in bloom and the blue foliage gives year round interest. Easy to grow in a border or pot, makes a fantastic small hedge that can be trimmed to size.
