Muehlenbeckia axillaris, commonly known as a creeping Wire Vine. A low creeping evergreen groundcover plant, which forms a spreading mat of wiry stems clothed in tiny, rounded glossy green leaves - through Autumn and Winter the foliage takes on a bronzed appearance. In Summer tiny white flowers are produced followed by attractive white berries.
Muehlenbeckia axillaris is a fantastic plant for covering underneath plants or just to cover a difficult area. It will grow in most soils and is happy in full sun or shade. Easy to grow in most soils in full sun to shade, excellent combined with spring bulbs.
