Plant Information

Artemisia arborescens Powis Castle is a vigorous evergreen Shrub with a woody base and soft branching habit with deeply cut silver grey feathery foliage. It forms a silvery mound in late summer panicles to 15cm of silver tinged yellow flower heads are carried at the end of the shoots.

Artemisia arborescens Powis Castle can be cut back hard to maintain a bright vigorous plant. Ideal for a dry garden, in a large pot, rockery or at the front of a border - could also be planted on top of a wall where it can hang down. RHS Award of Garden Merit
