Potting a New Variety
January 2015
We are very pleased to be potting plants of a brand new variety of Penstemon flowered Antirrhinum at the moment. Antirrhinum Pretty in Pink has been bred by Peter Moore (www.bredbypetermoore) and will be available for sale from late April as a flowering plant.
This superb new variety will flower all Summer long whether grown in a border, tub or basket - the tubular pink flowers attract butterflies and bees and really stand out.

It's wonderful at this time of year to see the first flush of growth starting on the evergreens - cold clear days like today deliver high light levels and the greenhouses are able to trap a little warmth creating the perfect Environment for the first signs of growth. Week 5 (next week!) is always a magical time on the nursery when you can see the plants growing - this is a combination of the increased day length and light intensity. Spring is marching our way!
April 2014
We have been busy getting all the Summer flowering perennials potted, the young plants have all been potted into our peat free compost and are being set down on the capillary beds to grow on. This will ensure we have a steady supply of attractive plants throughout the season.
We have potted over 35 varieties which include some of the best new breeding from around the world, they have been selected for their visual impact and length of flowering to ensure they will perform well in gardens or mixed planters.
