Environmental Management

We are amongst the first nurseries in the UK to hold ISO14001, this is apparent in all of our activities with many initiatives to reduce our negative impact on the environment.

We believe that plants hold the key to solving many environmental issues and ensure that our commercial production techniques are not negating this.

Our key focus is on reducing inputs of water, fuel and pesticides whilst reducing waste and increasing recycling — please look at our environmental policy for more details.

Since starting the project we have reduced our waste to landfill by 50%, reduced oil consumption and taken many other steps including using FSC paper for the production of our catalogue and using pots made from recycled plastic.

All our Team have worked hard to gain certification and our environmental commitment is developing at every level within the business.
